Hungary practised man-down defence for much of the second half and elected to send a man up front in the setting sun. Hungaryinvariably stole the ball or blocked the shot and passed down the pool forthe forward scout to score. German players were frustrated on the bench butin the water there seemed a lack of effort made for a frustrating game towatch. Germany took only four shots in the final quarter. Hungary¹s defencewas awesome and the vast array of unguarded shots was breathtaking. No wonder Hungary is top of the group with a clean sheet.
