Hungary took advantage of less experienced Singapore winning on day two of the 2007 FINA Men's Junior World Championships by a count of 26-3. The Hungarians took control of this game from the very start posting a 6-0 lead after the first period. In the second they allowed two Singapore goals but answered with seven of their own to lead 13-2 at halftime. In the third quarter the Hungary lead ballooned to 20-2 and in the fourth six more goals found the back of the net to leave Hungary the clear winner 26-3.
Flash Quotes:
Hungary: "It was very important for us, we have to hold the form of the team and every game is important. Every game is also very useful because it is a new experience." -- Tibor Keszthelyi
Singapore: "A huge learning experience for the boys with Hungary being too strong but we kept fighting. It would have been nice to convert more opportunities. We knew they would be too big and too strong but if we come out of the water and know we have done our best then that's fine." -- Paul Oberman
