It has been a learning experience for the squad from Jamaica as they again fell in a lopsided contest a day after losing by double figures to the United States. Today the Jamaicans lost by a count of 23-1 to France. France was in control throughout leading 5-0 after the first quarter and 12-1 at halftime. They built a 19-1 lead by the end of the third quarter and cruised the rest of the way with four more goals in the fourth on their way to victory. A well balanced attack saw eight different goal scorers for the French.

Flash Quotes:

France: On the victory "I think it is part of the championships, we tried to focus on our own game, trying to work on our game plan and work as a team and work on team tactics focusing more on preparation." -- Joe Britto

On defeating the opponent by a large margin "It's not the best feeling in the world, it is hard, you don't want to beat a team that bad and we always respect the adversary and never want to embarass them. We are out to play the game and have fun." -- Joe Britto

Jamaica: "Just to qualify (for this tournament) is a big thing, the first Jamaican team to qualify and for us to be in the same group with France, USA, etc. we know these teams are above us. Everytime I throw my team to the wolves we just try to protect the goal and score everytime possible. We don't look at scores, we look at experience, we will use this experience for future games. We are looking towards games where we can show our potential, but I just want to keep up the spirit of the team because this is a learning experience." -- Laszlo Borbely
